EDDY SMYTHE

Eddy Smythe is a development surveyor who has run his own company for 30 years. During this period of time, he has been retained to provide property consultancy advice to the largest retail group in the world (Wal Mart), which has involved presenting projects to the UK board and to the international board in Kansas in the USA.

He was a director and major shareholder in a leisure centre in Durham for 14 years until the successful sale to a larger company in 2019.

Eddy is retained by and continues to provide development consultancy to the UK’s third largest retailer. He is also joint owner of a small residential development company based in his hometown in South Oxfordshire.

He is the chair of trustees for a charity based in the UK that provides micro finance loans to people who desperately need them in Sierra Leone. He also works with several other charities in an advisory and fund raising capacity.
