The Forgotten Generations (TFG)
Founded in June 2021, TFG is a not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to sharing the history, heritage, and lived experiences of British African and Caribbean people for educational and cultural enrichment.
We record and preserve life stories and contributions through research, visual, audio, and written accounts. These include experiences from military service, professional achievements, and personal journeys, locally, nationally and internationally.
Life’s path is often a fascinating tapestry, woven from moments of joy, challenge, resilience and hope. When these experiences are gathered and shared, they create something truly powerful and inspiring.
Our mission is to bring these stories to light, honouring the voices of individuals from all walks of life and across all ages, past, present and future generations.
Mission Statement
The Forgotten Generations (TFG) is an initiative to record visual and oral and written stories of the early and later years of individuals from British African & Caribbean Countries and also any who would like to share their experiences of their years of separation from parents/children due to immigration, colonisation, repatriation etc.
