Jannette, a mother of three and grandmother of three is a staunch, resilient and extremely focused individual. Her life journey from the age 2 will have you sitting up and at the edge of your seat.

Jannette’s achievements have also been remarkable and outstanding. She is a member of the Birmingham Opera Company and has acted various characters such as: Lady Macbeth, Theatrical Opera, Detective Sergeant, counsellor, Connie a Windrush immigrant visitor to England, Short film and /Play Also part of B.H.M Workshops For Schools, Nurse Brown and Short film true story, Rhine Gold Opera by Birmingham Opera Company, Feature film by Gap Entertainment Company Love is. A faith-based film due out 2024.m, A commissioned staring true story film role. Yet to be announced.

Jannette is at present personally writing, producing, directing, and acting within her own shows, one of which is the pantomime ‘Queenie Dreadlocks and The Three Heirs’. The other is a true-life production. ‘Merlina Pearl-The Musical’. Her writing has also enabled her to script The King Of Reggae – The Man The Music show for the Rush Theatre Company and take part in it as one of the narrators for a year. That show is currently touring the country.

Jannette is an associate member of Gazebo theatre Company, the company responsible for the Windrush series Connie. To date she is still a member of the Birmingham Opera Company. A narrator for the Caribbean Bunch series of children’s books authored by Patrick Fitzgerald, and by using all the above she enhances her work as a mental health community practitioner and 1-2-1 counsellor.

Conclusion

Jannette’s story is one of total lifelong dedication to a particular role that was thrust upon her from a tender age of 2 years old, and still firmly carrying out that role to date. It’s nothing short of a remarkable story. Her other achievements in life are also outstanding, especially in the performing, acting and production world.
