From Loss to Hope: Winston’s Triumph Over Adversity

Winston, a positive, bubbly, effervescent character, always believes that there is a better tomorrow. However, not ever knowing his father, and mother departed to pastures new when he was only 3 years old, clearly was a road for a difficult childhood experience. Reuniting with mother at the age of 13 was like strangers meeting for the first time, especially that he had never called anyone Mom before, every. Many years later he experienced an unexpected 10-year separation from his children after what he expected to be a 2-week holiday in Jamaica, a case which ultimately involved the much-publicised Windrush saga. Winston shares his remarkable journey from childhood to today, experiences that enables him to recognise and readily help youngsters and adults with his charity organisation, including anyone who would like to share their Windrush experience.

Winston’s story from birth to date, including his experiences of the Windrush generation travesty, is tantamount to incredible.
