Editor’s Note

Having met Tony, as he was affectionately known, it was indeed my honour to do so. He was fully engaged in the community promoting the contributions of African and Caribbean servicemen and women. He donated over 20 of the boards that he used as a part of his presentations around the country. RAF Hendon Museum has digitised these boards for use in the public domain, Lest We Forget. I still have these boards which I use from time to time to highlight the contributions of many African and Caribbean people in the Second World War.
