It was great to meet Giovanni under the circumstances that we met, which was in a factory when he was adding the finishing touches to a monument he had designed and had made for a permanent fixture in Wolverhampton, the city where he lives. His work certainly adds another dimension to the lives of Africa and Caribbean people and communities.
